Gifting The Neighbors

This is the story about how we gifted our neighbors. Nothing extravangent, just something small that says - "we like living next to you. thanks for being so awesome."

First I took a blank box and layered some red tissue paper.

Then I filled it with homemade deliciousness.

I attempted to neatly fold the tissue paper on top.

Then on the box I tied one of my homemade gift tags and a felt tree ornament I bought at Target. I can't find them online to share with you, but they were 3 for $1 and they were in the ornament section.

* After looking at this picture I remembered to trim the trailing leftover twine.

Easy peasy. That's my theme for this year.

So that's what we're gifting our neighbors with. Are you giving your neighbors anything? Did you bake any holiday cookies yet this year? If you have any killer recipes, I'd love to hear! :)

  2. Very nice! And delicious. I made smores bark for my daughters first birthday party and everyone really liked it, so I think I'll be making that.

  6. We haven't even met the neighbours yet! Maybe this would be a good way to break the ice.
    Thanks for the idea!

  8. What a lovely idea!! We don't have plans to gift the neighbors this year (our favorites just moved away actually), but I'll definitely keep this in mind for next year.

  11. So cute! If I knew my neighbors, I would take them treats. They are all old and not friendly. (I always pictured neighbors coming over to welcome you to the neighborhood...not so much.) Oh well. Merry Christmas to you guys! :)
