2012

Happy New Year and welcome 2012!

We brought the new year in with a bang. A good old fashioned skeet shoot. Justin and the boys played with their guns while I shot pictures with my camera. See those flying orange discs in the left corner? There she blows!

The remains of a good time . . .
How did you usher in the new year? Was anyone else thinking of this guy the whole time you were reading this post?
Skeeter image from here.

Ahh Doug Funny. They don't make shows like that anymore.

PS: Check back tomorrow to see our first project of the new year!

  1. Happy New Year! I don't think I could hit one of those targets if my life depended on it, lol.
I am glad to hear I am not the only one with an incredibly messy basement! ;)

  2. @ Kelly - Hahah I definitely can't hit one of those targets. That's why I stuck to taking pictures :)

  7. @ Lindsay - I have gotten behind the trigger before, but not this year. I'm much more of an archery kind of gal :)

  12. Looks like y'all had fun for new years! We celebrated by going to bed early!
I'm with you I don't think I could have hit the targets either. My eyes are horrible and my aim much worse.

  13. Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one with a gun loving boy! My BF's truck was recognized by the broken clays in the bed. And shotgun wreath? I'm pretty sure I need to make this.
